FIGHTASIANHATE.ORG

COALITION & RESOURCE TOOLKIT

OUR STORY

Formed in March 2021 in the aftermath of the Atlanta shootings, the FightAsianHate.org Coalition seeks to address the recent spike in anti-Asian violence and the causes of bigotry that have endured over the centuries.

Our goal: To bring together community organizations, individual citizens, and public officials to enact meaningful government actions. To that end, FightAsianHate.org serves as a resource for education, advocacy, and inspiration by recording and amplifying public official/government actions across all levels of civic society - from school districts and city councils to the state level.

The Coalition partners convene to share experience, best practices, plan activities, and identify future goals and objectives.

The FightAsianHate.org Coalition is an initiative of the Asian Pacific American Leadership Institute (APALI), in conjunction with Civic Leadership USA as lead organizational partner and Santa Clara County Supervisor Otto Lee as lead public official partner. Visit apali.org for more information and a link to donate.

"I made extensive use of your toolkit, as I craft a new resolution for our local school district’s anti-Asian Hate work. THANK YOU for this work. Sonoma County’s API population is not large, but we are all allies."
